Bio:

Rudy Rodarte is a programmer and database professional based in Austin, TX by way of Houston, TX. After graduating from Baylor University in Waco, TX with a B.S. in Computer Science, I moved to Austin, TX to work at Dell Inc in 2001. I am now working at HotSchedules.com as a DBA.

Database Programming Work:

I work primarily with medium to large SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 database systems.
My primary focus is DTS and SSIS package creation and maintenance. I also develop and deploy SQL Reporting Services 2005 & 2008 sites for end users.
My tasks also include database design and implementation, along with designing and testing advanced functions and stored procedures.
I also use ASP.NET and C# to create web pages and WinForms as needed to fulfill business needs. I am also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008.

Hobbies:

In my spare time, I enjoy working out, Yoga, running and XBox 360. I frequently attend Baylor Bear and San Antonio Spurs sporting events. When I have a minute to watch TV, I enjoy a good WWE or UFC match.
