Bio:
Rudy Rodarte is a programmer and database professional based in Austin, TX by way of Houston, TX. After graduating from Baylor University in Waco, TX with a B.S. in Computer Science, I moved to Austin, TX to work at Dell Inc in 2001. I am now working at Dimensional Fund Advisors as a Senior Database Administrator.
Database Programming Work:
I work primarily with medium to large SQL Server 2016 and 2019 database systems and MongoDB replica sets.
My primary focus is ensuring the highest levels of uptime and database performance for our clientele.
My tasks also include database design and implementation, along with designing and testing advanced functions and stored procedures.
I also use Python and Powershell to create scripts and tools to fulfill business needs. I am also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified IT Professional in SQL Server 2008 on the DBA and Developer tracts.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, Peloton, running, and Xbox.
I frequently attend Baylor Bear and San Antonio Spurs sporting events. When I have a minute to watch TV, I enjoy a good WWE or AEW match.
